La Polonesa

Polish restaurant in Madrid

The Polish restaurant in Madrid has been operating continuously for almost 12 years. Every day we make sure that our customers can experience new flavors of Polish cuisine.

In our kitchen, we use all the key products that have been imported from Poland. Thanks to this, we are sure that the taste of the dishes is original and exactly as you would know them in Poland.

What is Polish food like?

Polish cuisine is a mixture of multicultural influences – Slavic, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, German, Czech, Jewish and others. Historically, Polish cuisine is very greasy. Poles got used to eating vegetables in the 16th century, when Queen Bona Sforza brought them from Italy.

The most famous dishes are Russian dumplings (with cottage cheese and potatoes), but those with meat and other fillings are equally popular.
